The first fire damper with metal damper blade comes from SCHAKO – maximum safety for air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
The Ideal Comfort Outlet IKA is designed for the optimum ventilation of high halls.
It is used in the Berlin and Nuremberg trade fair centres and also at Barcelona airport.
The volume control damper VRA with measuring cross is launched.

SCHAKO develops and patents the swirl diffuser DQJ.

Ferdinand Schad founds the company, which is involved in the production of surgical instruments under contract. It also manufactures components for the music industry, including flow parts for mouth organs.
